🚙 Best for: Budget-friendly camping, hiking, paragliding & scenic coastal views
💧 Facilities: Toilets, hot showers, water fountains & dishwashing area
🐚 Tip: Keep an eye out for seals along the shoreline!
We spent a night at Camping Mont-Saint-Pierre during our Gaspésie road trip, and it was the perfect stop to break up the drive after a stunning stretch along the coastline. The views of the bay are beautiful, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot seals playing in the water.
The campsite is simple but has everything you need — toilets, hot showers, clean water, and a place to wash dishes. It’s an affordable and convenient option for anyone traveling with tents or on a budget. We booked a spot for our two tents, and the setup was easy and comfortable.
From the campground, you can easily explore the area — go for a hike up Mont Saint-Pierre for panoramic views or watch the paragliders taking off from the summit. It’s a calm and scenic place that truly marks the entrance to the Gaspésie Peninsula, and a great spot to rest before continuing your adventure.
