Toronto’s Chinatown feels like a full change of scenery. The neighborhood is packed with family-owned restaurants and bakeries, and with so many options, you almost forget you’re in Canada. If you speak Cantonese or Mandarin, you can even order in the language, which adds to the experience. The Chinese-style buildings, colorful storefronts, and decorative gates clearly mark the neighborhood and give it a strong identity. It’s one of the largest Chinatowns in North America, lively, busy, and full of character—a great place to eat well, wander around, and soak up a different side of Toronto.
