🏕️ Best for: Camping, road trips, paddling adventures on Rivière Bonaventure
🚿 Amenities: Toilets, showers (with coins), water fountains, dishwashing station, picnic tables
💡 Tip: Perfect base if you're planning to kayak or canoe the river — rentals are right on-site
During our Gaspésie road trip, we spent a night at Cime Aventure, right next to the crystal-clear Rivière Bonaventure — and it was the perfect affordable stop before continuing our journey. They offer plenty of space for tents as well as spots for VRs, so it works for all types of travellers.
The facilities are simple but practical: there are toilets, showers (you’ll need coins to get the water running), water fountains, and even a place to wash your dishes. Each campsite has its own picnic table, which is always handy for cooking and hanging out after a long day on the road.
What makes this spot extra convenient is that Cime Aventure is also the main outfitter for kayaking and canoeing on the Bonaventure River — so if you’re planning to paddle, this is the ideal place to stay. For us, it was exactly what we needed: peaceful, easy, and perfectly located for whatever adventure was next.
A great rest stop before diving into the next chapter of your Gaspésie trip!
