A Taste of Regeneration and Terroir

Among Québec’s vineyards, Vignoble de la Bauge stands out as a true pioneer. This family-owned estate is not just about great wine — it’s about creating life in the soil. As the first organic regenerative farm in Québec, La Bauge redefines what it means to cultivate sustainably.

You can join a guided tour aboard a tractor charette, a one-hour immersion into the world of regenerative viticulture. You’ll learn how sheep, llamas, and alpacas help maintain the vines, naturally fertilize the land, and create a thriving ecosystem. It’s fascinating to see how every element — from the animals to the grapes — plays a role in keeping the soil alive.

Their team also works hand in hand with researchers to identify grape varieties that adapt best to Québec’s climate, giving birth to a true local wine identity. After the visit, you’ll enjoy a tasting of their red and white wines, and if you wish, you can dive deeper into their vinification process.
