Directions

Get ready for an unforgettable walk to the northwesternmost point of the contiguous United States. The journey begins with a beautiful 1.5-mile round-trip hike through a lush coastal forest, with much of the path covered by a well-maintained boardwalk. As you approach the coast, you'll find several viewing platforms offering absolutely breathtaking views of the dramatic cliffs, crashing Pacific waves, and the iconic Tatoosh Island with its lighthouse. A Makah Recreation Pass is required to visit and can be purchased in Neah Bay before you head to the trailhead.
