China Cove Beach is a beautiful beach located on the southern shore of Donner Lake. It can be accessed from the Donner Memorial State Park, and is surrounded by towering pine trees offering plenty of shade. Visitors can enjoy activities such as swimming, picnicking and fishing here. The cove also makes for a great spot to scuba dive. Amenities include picnic tables, BBQ areas, and restroom facilities. While there is no lifeguard on duty, visitors are sure to have a great time enjoying the stunning landscape and crystal-clear waters of Donner lake from China Cove.
