It is hard to believe but most of these waterfalls are owned by the locals. Tesoro Escondido is also owned by a Costarican family. This place has been private for many years.Tesoro Escondido translates to Hidden treasure and the name does complete justice. Level of hike is quite easy. They offer a 15-minute horse ride as well.
