The Torre da Cadeia Velha, also known as the "Old Chain Tower," is a historic building in Ponte de Lima, Portugal. Originally part of the town's fortified walls in the 14th century, it was later converted into a prison by King Manuel I in the 16th century. Today, the tower houses a tourism shop and hosts temporary art exhibitions. Visitors can explore the remnants of the old wall structure while strolling through the charming town center.
