Message from Nicole Carter

Wahkeena Falls in Oregon is a stunning waterfall along the Columbia Gorge Scenic Highway. It plunges down a narrow crack between basalt outcroppings, creating a picturesque scene framed by maple trees. The falls drop around 260 feet and can be accessed via a trail from the parking area. The name "Wahkeena" means "most beautiful" in Yakima Indian language, and it's easy to see why once you lay eyes on this natural wonder. Don't forget your camera - you'll want to capture this beauty for sure!
