Planinsko Polje (Planina Plains) was named after the Planina village. This Karstic field features Unec river that meanders through the flat plains. The river regularly floods after heavy rains, creating a beautiful lake with partially submerged trees. This place is popular with drones. The most interesting is when flooded with high water when the trees stick out. It is also nice in early summer when meadow flowers blossom. This is great for macro photography as the diversity is great here. There are often morning mists. Sometimes there is a thick layer of fog that lifts several hours after the sunrise. You can park by the side of the road, then explore around on foot (not into the grass fields though).
