A fascinating temple hanging over the edge of the mountain.
About Lingtong Mountain & Temple
Lingtong Mountain & Temple is one of those uniquely Chinese sights that would be a top view in so many other places.
Drive up an unassuming mountain, park at a tiny gravel parking lot and follow the path up to about 1200m and you'll end up at a temple seemingly hanging off the edge.
Personally, I'd suggest visiting during the rainy season as there's a higher chance to get the shot of the waterfall falling out over the temple.
Getting to Lingtong Mountain
Lingtong Mountain is not that easy to get to - which is great because it also stops it getting too busy most of the time.
To get here, I'd recommend taking a high-speed train to Zhengzhou (漳州)and then either renting a car or getting a driver.
Renting a car would also make it a great chance to escape further into Fujian and explore the tulou's.
