RAF Fearn, also known as Balintore airfield, was a Royal Air Force base located near the Dornoch Firth in Scotland. It served as a satellite airfield for RAF Tain before being taken over by the Fleet Air Arm and renamed RNAS Fearn. The site was commissioned as HMS Owl in 1942 and housed various units, including the Royal Navy’s Barracuda Operational Training Unit. Today, the former airbase is used as farmland, with some original buildings now derelict and abandoned.
