New York Local

Walk the Iconic Brooklyn Bridge. You will enter/ exit on the Brooklyn side at Washington Street and Prospect Street. The Bridge was completed in 1883. It was at that time the longest suspension bridge in the world. The bridge was designed by John A Roebling, the whole process of building started in 1867. He never got the chance to finish building it. John A Roebling died of a tetanus infection which he developed after an accident while working on the bridge. His daughter in law Emily took over the project which was completed in 1883. The Brooklyn bridge is a great place to take a leisurely stroll, take in the views, and enjoy the fresh air. It is also a popular spot for joggers, cyclists, and photographers.
