On this adventure you will be exploring the stunning landscapes of the Icelandic highlands, places like Landmannalaugar, Langisjór, Sigöldugljúfur, Háifoss, and many more.
Things to know before you go:

You also need to be comfortable driving in rough conditions and through water as there are a few river crossings along the way.
Also note that water levels in the river crossings can change depending on weather.
Some places in the higlands have very limited or even no cell service at all, so make sure to have offline maps saved on your phone in case you get lost.
Weather can be unpredictable so be prepared, and keep a close eye on the forecast.
Parking in Landmannalaugar in 2025
Beginning June 20th, 2024 there’s a new parking reservation system in place in Landmannalaugar. You have to reserve your parking spot in advance when arriving at Landmannalaugar between June 20th and September 15th, 2025, between 8AM and 3PM. Otherwise you may be denied parking.
