If you're looking for a unique experience while staying in Kuta Lombok, this cave offers beautiful natural light and the chance to see thousands of bats. It's a great spot for taking pictures and spotting wildlife – we even saw two pythons sleeping high up in the cave. The entrance fee is around 75K IDR ($5), and a local from the village will join you to unlock the gate to the cave. The best times to visit are between 12-1.30pm for the light to be right above the cave.

Important to note: there are also hundreds of cockroaches on the floors and walls. They won’t get on you, but if you’re afraid of cockroaches, I don't recommend stopping by.
