A 30 minute drive from Prismatic Springs, West Thumb Basin was hands down one of the most colourful spots in the park. The springs gleamed with stunning shades of blue, and in some places, the water was so crystal clear you could see all the way to the bottom. Add in the backdrop of Yellowstone Lake, and this spot quickly became one of my favourite spring sights!

We managed to walk to loop within Half an hour before heading to the next stop, but if you allow an hour or so you will still make good time.
