My Top Museums

Paris is home to many fabulous museums but here are my favourites to prioritise on your trip…

Paris, France

Louvre

This is the most famous museum in the world so it’s definitely an important one to see, especially as it homes the famous Mona Lisa. I’d also recommend seeing the Napoleon apartments, cour marly and Crown Jewels. You could easily spend a whole day here as it’s so big so you may have to pick and choose the exhibits to see.

Musée D’Orsay

This is the second biggest museum in Paris and is an old train station making the interior a sight to see ! You can’t miss the works of Van Gogh, Monet and Dejas here…

Dior gallery

A museum for fashion lovers! This takes you through the history of Dior, featuring stunning clothing.

Rodin Museum

The Rodin museum is dedicated to the works of the famous sculptor Auguste Rodin. Set in a beautiful 18th-century mansion, the Hôtel Biron, the museum showcases an impressive collection of his sculptures, including iconic pieces like "The Thinker" and "The Kiss."

Petit palais

This is a free museum just off the Champs Élysée. It’s a lot quieter but still just as beautiful making it one of my faves ! You can’t miss the stunning cafe here set in the museum courtyard - it really took my breath away !

Hôtel de la Marine

If you can’t head to Versailles but want to see some luxurious historical rooms then this is perfect ! Set in the centre of Paris on Place de la Concorde, it also has an amazing balcony view you can’t miss.
