Gullfoss Waterfall in Iceland is a must-see natural wonder located just 1.5 hours from Reykjavik on the Golden Circle route. What makes Gullfoss unique is that you view it from above, giving the illusion that the waterfall disappears underground. The waterfall is open year-round, but some viewpoints may be inaccessible in winter. Remember to bring spare change for the restroom or head inside the visitor center for a free bathroom break.
