One of the easiest and most beautiful fall viewpoints in the Truckee–Reno corridor is right along Interstate 80. As you drive east from Truckee toward Reno, watch for the Farad exit. Just past it, on your right-hand side, you’ll spot a dirt pullout that offers a classic view down into the Truckee River Canyon.
