Getting from the Dolomites to Mount Baldo is super doable. From places like Val Gardena, Ortisei, or Canazei, it’s around a 2.5 to 3-hour drive—mostly scenic mountain and lakeside roads. You can easily spend the day on Mount Baldo and Malcesine, then head back to your Dolomites base by evening. It’s the perfect contrast: start the day with alpine peaks, end it overlooking a sparkling lake with gelato in hand.
