The Point de vue de Dioré overlooks the wide coastal plain of Saint-André and the start of the island’s lush eastern interior. It’s a quick stop but one that rewards you with open sky, layered ridgelines, and an unexpected sense of space. The viewpoint is set just off the road and accessible by car, making it a popular stop for locals on weekend drives or early morning outings.

You won’t find any tourist infrastructure here. Just a railing, a small paved area, and the sound of the wind moving through the valley below. On clear days, the view stretches from sugarcane fields to distant peaks. On misty mornings, the clouds hang low and give the place a quiet, surreal atmosphere.
