Under renovation, re-opening early 2025
The Frick Collection is a small and beautiful art museum on New York's museum mile on the Upper East Side. It's so unique because its housed in the Frick mansion, the former home of 19th century industrialist and art collector, Henry Frick. He collected Renaissance paintings, the works of Old Masters, and European sculptures and decorative arts. Because this was his personal collection, and displayed in his home, the beauty of the collection and the enjoyment of the viewer is prioritised. One of my favourite museums in New York!
