The Free Thermal Baths of Bormio, often called Leonardo’s Pools, are a natural hot spring site nestled in the mountains near Bormio, Lombardy. Set along the Braulio stream, these thermal pools maintain a soothing temperature between 38 and 41°C. Carved naturally into the rock, the pools can be reached via a short forest trail and are open to the public at no cost. Surrounded by alpine peaks and pristine nature, they offer a unique opportunity to relax in warm, mineral-rich waters while taking in breathtaking mountain views. Visitors are encouraged to preserve the delicate environment to keep this hidden gem unspoiled for all.
