Whats here?

A small, free campground right on the coast near Albany — with a stunning beach literally on your doorstep. It’s one of those spots that feels remote and special because of how limited it is.

What to expect

  • Free camping (first come, first served)

  • Drop toilets

  • Direct access to a beautiful, quiet beach

  • Very small campground — fills up fast

  • Dirt road access (2WD is fine)

Is it worth it?

100% — this is a top pick.

If you can get a spot, it’s an incredible place to camp. We arrived around 10am and it was already packed, so go early and have a backup plan just in case.

Betty’s Beach is very close by and equally worth considering — you can’t really go wrong with either.
