Checking road.is and vedur.is every morning before driving is standard practice for Icelandic road safety. Most of these websites also have English versions, making planning much easier for international travelers.

Inspired by Iceland has really nice ideas about activities, attractions, itineraries, travel tips. Viator is also great to book guided tours: ice caves, glacier hikes, whale watching.

REMEMBER: Save offline maps on Google Maps or Maps.me for areas with poor signal.
