The abandoned DC plane on Sólheimasandur beach in South Iceland crashed in 1973 after running out of fuel, but luckily everyone survived. The eerie sight of the white plane against the black sand makes it feel like you're in a sci-fi movie. You used to be able to drive there, but now it's a bit of a hike from the main road. Just be careful not to get stuck in the soft sand or caught in a sandstorm, and enjoy this unique and surreal experience!
