If there is one drink that New Zealand is famous for - L&P - which stands for Lemon and Paeroa. In the small town of Paeroa, you'll find the World's Largest L&P Bottle standing tall at Ohinemuri Reserve and this iconic soda bottle is a symbol of Paeroa's claim to fame as the birthplace of Lemon & Paeroa. There is a slogan for this lemony drink and us kiwis say "World Famous in New Zealand since ages ago".

If you're keen to try this fizzy drink, you can find it at most dairies, supermarkets and petrol stations and it comes in a can and sometimes a bottle.
