Inokashira Park is generally a chill oasis in the midst of bustling Tokyo, popular among locals for its greenery and laid-back vibes. However, during cherry blossom seasons it becomes very crowded to the point where there 10 people for every tree.
Outside of the peak season, visitors can enjoy rowing boats on Inokashira Pond, catch the cherry blossoms in spring, and explore the Ghibli Museum. Don't miss the Benzaiten Shrine or the small-but-impressive Inokashira Park Zoo.
