Munich is amazing: rich in museums, parks, churches, and historical buildings, attracting millions of visitors every year.

Munich is the beautiful capital of the state of Bavaria, the largest German state. It is located on the banks of the Isar River, north of the Bavarian Alps, and is the third largest city in Germany, after Berlin and Hamburg. About 1.4 million people live within the city limits.

The city was first mentioned in a document in 1158, but only officially became a city in 1175.

Munich is known for its culture and historical value, one of the most famous cities in the world, and one of the most sought-after tourist destinations. Its annual beer festival, Oktoberfest, is world-famous.

Many tourists who come to Munich are absolutely amazed by the quality of the architecture, and although it was heavily damaged by Allied bombing during World War II, many of its historical buildings have been meticulously reconstructed.

It hosted the 1972 Summer Olympics, where the terrible attack that killed members of the Israeli Olympic team took place.

Visiting Munich is like stepping back in time, to the era of the great emperors and kings who shaped German history.
