The Icelandic Phallological Museum, also known as Hið Íslenzka Reðasafn, is a quirky and unique museum located in Reykjavík, Iceland. It proudly boasts the world's largest collection of penises and penile parts from various species, including humans. Founded in 1997 by Sigurður Hjartarson, a retired teacher with a fascination for penises since childhood, the museum has grown to house over 300 penises from more than 100 different mammals. From the massive 170 cm long blue whale penis to the tiny 2 mm baculum of a hamster, this museum has it all! It even claims to have penises from creatures of Icelandic folklore, although they are invisible according to local legends. With its phallic art and crafts, the museum attracts thousands of visitors each year and has gained international attention. So, if you're ever in Reykjavík and feeling curious, why not pay a visit to this one-of-a-kind museum?
