Cape Peron in Francois Peron National Park is one of those places that feels like you’ve stepped into a bloody postcard. It’s where the vivid orange dunes collide with the crystal-clear blues, and honestly, it’s hard to believe it’s real. If you’ve got a drone, this spot is next level from above—the contrast of colours is unreal.

Do yourself a favour and get there early to dodge the crowds. There’s nothing better than having that epic view to yourself for a little while. The road in, though? Let’s just say it’s a bit of a mission. It’s corrugated as heckkk, so you’ll need to deflate the tyres on your 4WD and take it slow. Allow some extra time to get there—it’s bumpy, but totally worth it.
