A Few Things Worth Booking Ahead
Vancouver is generally easy to explore spontaneously, but these experiences are worth planning in advance.

A few quick planning tips before you go. Vancouver is a laid-back city, but some of its most popular restaurants, wellness experiences, attractions, and day trips can fill up surprisingly quickly, especially during the summer. A little planning ahead can save you a lot of waiting and help you make the most of your trip.
đœïž Book popular restaurants in advance. Especially during summer weekends, places like Miku, Minami, June and others can book up days or even weeks ahead. If there's somewhere you're excited to try, make a reservation.
âšïž Reserve wellness experiences early. Circle Wellness, Sisu Swim Sauna, and Kolm Kontrast often book out well ahead of time, particularly on weekends.
đ Buy attraction tickets online. Popular attractions like Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge can get very busy during peak season. It's also easier and faster to buy tickets online.
âŽïž Thinking about exploring beyond the city? Bowen Island and the Sunshine Coast make fantastic day trips. If you're bringing a car, I'd strongly recommend reserving your ferry in advance during the summer. If there's no reservations left, make sure to show up ahead of your departure time to reduce chances of having to wait a few sailings. Walking passengers don't need reservations and can often hop on much more easily.
