Hotel Sobial Namba Daikokucho in Osaka as an excellent location near the Daikokucho Metro station and Lawson convenience store for comparatively little money. Rooms are small but cozy and I was surprised to see this hotel even has a public hot spring for relaxation! (Unfortunately not allowed for tattoos) That being said eveb without it it's a great accommodation for the price and location. Breakfast needs to be reserved in advance.
