The most beautiful street to visit in Valldemossa. After visiting the church go towards Carrer de la Rectoria,and stop at number 5, where the birthplace of Santa Catalina Tomás is located.

Born in Valldemossa in 1531 and known throughout Mallorca by the popular name “La Beateta,” St. Catalina Tomás was a nun so revered by her neighbors and the entire island that she was beatified in 1792 and venerated as a saint since 1930.

There is a small chapel dedicated to St. Catherine and know that in the village the doors of houses painted with scenes of the saint.

Nata a Valldemossa nel 1531 e conosciuta in tutta Maiorca con il nome popolare di "La Beateta", Santa Caterina Tommaso era una monaca così venerata dai suoi vicini e dall'intera isola da essere beatificata nel 1792 e venerata come Santa dal 1930.
C'è una piccola cappella dedicata a Santa Caterina e sappi che nel paese le porte delle case dipinte con scene della Santa.
