This area in Myvatn, is a unique little peninsula with a mini-forest that offers a nice break from the surrounding bare landscapes. You can explore the forest and admire the lava pillars of Kálfastrandavogar standing in the water, along with great views of Lake Myvatn.

It's often a pretty quiet place to enjoy the scenery. The parking lot has a paid WC.
