Brunate is a charming town in northern Italy, located about 50 kilometers northeast of Milan. With around 1,800 residents, it becomes much livelier in the summer when tourists flock to rent houses and apartments. Perched above Lake Como, Brunate offers stunning views of the lake and the city of Como below. It's connected to Como by a funicular and a winding road, making it a popular destination for day trips or longer stays. Plus, fun fact: Alessandro Volta, the guy who invented the battery, once lived here!
