Quirky rock formation with legend

The Devil's Chimney is a quirky rock formation on Leckhampton Hill in Gloucestershire, England. Shaped like a twisted chimney, it's actually a man-made pillar left behind by quarry workers as a joke in the 18th century. Local legend says it's the Devil's chimney, trapping him underground after he tried to pelt stones at churchgoers. The site survived an earthquake in 1926 and was repaired in the 1980s to prevent erosion. It's now a cool spot for visitors to check out and leave a coin for the Devil to keep him from causing trouble in the area.
