Hoch Ybrig is a beautiful mountain area in the canton of Schwyz, Central Switzerland. It is an ideal destination for hikers of all levels, families, and adventurers looking for an exciting activity. Hiking options range from easy to moderate trails with fantastic mountain views that go all the way to Lake Lucerne also, there is a super long zip line going up to 120km per hour for those who wants some serious excitement. The location is perfect for people looking for a quick get away from Zürich.

HOW TO GET THERE :

From Einsiedeln train station take the 556 bus to Hoch Brig Talstation Weglosen. Take the cable car up to Hoch Ybrig Seebeli. From here you have several option. You can stay in the are and hike around Seblisee which is a beautiful alpine lake. If you wish to have more adventure, you can hike up or take the chairlift to Klein Sternen station. Here you have some hiking option. Red white trail on the Ridgeline called Hoch Ybrig Höhenweg. It is a beautiful hiking trail, similar to Fronalpstock but you will find less people.From here you can actually hike on the Ridgeline and drop back to where you started at Hoch Ybrig Seebli cable car station.

If you are advanced, I can recommend to hike a blue white trail to Gross Stärnen and to Frostberg. The trail is narrow and exposed so if you have fear of heights I recommend to skip this hike. You have an amazing view on this hike, almost like a dream.

Hoch Ybrig can be visited in winter too. It is a small ski resort with gentle slopes.

Beautiful lesser know place. If you go I guarantee that you won't be disappointed.
