Faulhorn is a stunning hiking trail in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland, renowned for its breathtaking views and diverse nature. The 16.5 km one-way trail climbs through rolling meadows to high alpine pastures, leading up to specially drawn panoramas and the famous Bachalpsee Lake.

One of my favourite hike in Switzerland.

HIKE DETAILS:

Start: You need to ride the train up from Interlaken Ost to Schynige Platte.

Then from there you need to follow the sign towards Faulhorn. Distance will be 16,5 km with 825 meters of elevation gains.

It can take you to complete the entire hike in about 6 hours. Once you reach Faulhorn follow the sign towards Grindelwald First and Bachalpsee.

TIP: In summer keep an eye open for marmots. They love hanging out in the area.
