bericht van Ian G Black

St. Margaret's Chapel, located in Edinburgh Castle, is the oldest surviving building in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was built in the 12th century and is a great example of Romanesque architecture. Although it fell into disuse after the Reformation, it was restored in the 19th century and is now cared for by the St. Margaret's Chapel Guild. The chapel has a rich history, with ties to Queen Margaret of Scotland and even Robert the Bruce.
