  • Swimsuit (for fjords, lakes, or saunas)

  • Underwear & socks (merino recommended)

Shoes

  • Waterproof hiking boots

  • Comfortable shoes for travel days

  • Flip-flops (for showers, saunas or the beach)

Outdoor Gear

  • Daypack (20–30L)

  • Water bottle or hydration bladder

  • Headlamp or flashlight

  • Trekking poles (optional)

  • Travel towel

  • Sunglasses & sunscreen

  • Insect repellent (especially in the north)

Travel Essentials

  • Passport & ID

  • Credit card & some Norwegian cash (card works almost everywhere)

  • Phone + charger

  • Power bank

  • Adapter (Norway uses type C/F plugs)

  • Toiletries (travel size)

  • Basic first aid kit

  • Medications

  • Reusable shopping bag

  • Snacks (especially for long drives or hikes)

Camping/Vanlife (optional)

  • Sleeping bag & mat

  • Tent or camper setup

  • Camping stove & gas

  • Cooking gear & utensils

  • Food storage containers

  • Cooler or fridge box

  • Foldable chair/table

  • AllTrails (for hiking routes)

  • Google Maps (offline maps!)
