Praia do Camilo ("Camilo beach") is one of the most famous and beautiful beaches in the Lagos area, in the Algarve region, Portugal. It is accessible through a 200 steps wooden stairway, but prior to the descent, please make sure you enjoy this amazing view from the top.

Like other beaches in the Algarve region, Praia do Camilo was born among truncated cliffs. The sand strip is short and limited, so do make sure you arrive early in the high season (Summer, in particular).
