Antiphellos Ancient City, also known as Antiphellus, was an ancient coastal city in Lycia, Turkey. Initially settled by the Lycians and later occupied by the Persians, it rose in importance under Greek rule as the port of the nearby city of Phellus. The city thrived during the Roman period, receiving funds for reconstruction after a devastating earthquake in 141. Despite being mostly built over by the modern town of Kaş, remnants like the Hellenistic amphitheatre and the King's Tomb with its unique Lycian inscription still stand as testaments to its rich history.

I recommend coming about 1.5 hours before sunset to enjoy that golden hour glow. There is also live music at around 5pm.
