Bericht van
Marina Tinker

The National Jeu de Paume Gallery specializes in contemporary and postmodern photography and media. It is housed in a building at the edge of the Tuileries Garden, near Place de la Concorde. The facility has a long history, having been built in 1861 as a royal hall for the tennis-like sport called Jeu de Paume. During World War II, the room was confiscated by the Nazis and used as a collection hall for their looted art.
