Welcome to Pigeon Valley, a truly stunning corner of Cappadocia that connects the villages of Göreme and Uçhisar. You can wander through a trail that's about 4km long, which should take you a comfortable hour or two. Along the way, you'll see thousands of pigeon houses carved directly into the soft rock faces, a tradition that dates back centuries. The path is a fairly easy-going hike, with incredible views of the unique fairy chimneys and ancient cave dwellings, making it perfect for a morning or afternoon adventure.
