North Tahoe Beach is a popular 2.7 acre beach park with 540 feet of public shoreline located at the intersection of Highway 267 and Highway 28. There is no fee for use of the 39 parking spaces; however, they fill up early during the height of the summer season! The park includes a grassy area located above the beach; shoreline access; permanent restrooms; one horseshoe pit; barbecues and picnic tables; and three popular, high quality beach volleyball courts. It's a busy spot, with happy families and the area's best volleyball players enjoying the scene. A group picnic shelter with a large barbecue and cold running water seats 90 people.
