Parc de la Ciutadella is located in the northeastern corner of the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona, Catalonia. It is the city's only green space and boasts 31 hectares (77 acres) of grounds. It features several attractions including the city zoo, Museum of Natural Sciences, Palau del Parlament de Catalunya, an impressive fountain designed by Josep Fontserè and Antoni Gaudí, as well as a lake. The park is also home to the Castle of the Three Dragons, a grand building erected for the Universal Exposition of 1888.
