Palacio Barolo is an office building in Buenos Aires unlike any other. The design was inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy. The ground level is hell, walk in and immediately look up for devilish gargoyles and upwards turned lights imitating the fires of hell.

Middle stories are purgatory (there's an office space joke here somewhere) and the rooftop lighthouse represents paradise.

Among the Dante-inspired symbols are also a lot of symbols from the Free Masons, so a tour of Palacio Barolo is extremely interesting.

Today, it houses various offices, a Spanish school, and a tango clothing store.

There are guided tours all day but I highly recommend timing yours for sunset. You can do this by booking the tour that starts about an hour before sunset, check your weather app. There are also often themed tours.
