In the Haslital near Meiringen, the Aare Glacier has carved a gorge up to 200 meters deep through the limestone rocks. The entire gorge can be easily walked through on foot thanks to footbridges and tunnels. It was formed by the Aare Glacier over thousands of years and contains several limestone formations. It offers a refreshing and thrilling experience in all weather conditions and even a Mystic Evening Illumination with Pasta Fun every Friday and Saturday from June 30 - August 26 from the West Entrance.
