You'll find several Scandic hotels around Copenhagen, and although I haven't stayed at them all, I have stayed at a few (including this specific one by the lakes). I've found Scandic hotels to be basic, but comfortable. They are good options if you want something more affordable but still well located (and with a solid breakfast buffet).
